Dermal Fillers

for skin tightening & anti-wrinkles

Dermal fillers are gel-like substances that are injected under the skin to restore lost volume, smoothen lines and soften creases, or enhance facial contours. Acclaro uses stabilized hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane, Teosyal and Juvederm. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally-occurring substance that is already found in our skin, keeping it plump and hydrated.

How does it work?

Dermal Fillers enhance features by adding volume, lifting areas, facial contouring, and improving the symmetry of the face.

They are commonly used on the lips, cheekbones, deep creases, chin, and jawline. Hollowing on the cheeks and under eyes can be plumped out, mouth-to-nose lines can be softened, and chin can be enhanced if you want to achieve a V-shaped face.

The most common areas treated are:

  • Nose to mouth lines (the nasolabial folds)

  • Between the eyebrows (the glabella lines)

  • Lips (adding volume and shape)

Based on your initial consultation, your aesthetic doctor will recommend you a specific dermal filler based on your desired results for specific areas of your face.

During your dermal filler treatment, the areas to be injected will be cleansed with a non-alcohol antiseptic cleanser. Before the treatment commences, your aesthetic doctor will map out the areas to be treated to insure treatment accuracy. Topical anaesthetic may be applied to numb the area being treated.

Most dermal filler treaments are generally quite quick and relatively pain free. Any discomfort resolves immediately after the treatment is completed. It is a non-invasive treatment with minimal to no downtime.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The price of Dermal fillers at Acclaro Clinic starts from $750.

The cost of dermal filler treatment varies as it depends on how much filler is required based on the targeted area. During your initial consultation, your aesthetic doctor will conduct a detailed assessment and provide you with an accurate quote based on your personalised treatment plan.

  • Facial fillers are typically safe. However, just like any other medical treatment, there are some risks and potential complications.

Some mild side effects caused by face fillers are swelling, bruising, redness, pain, itching, and rash. Most of these are mild in nature and short-lived, which will only take 7 to 14 days to heal.

If your side effects worsen or persist, it is highly recommended that you seek out your provider for medical assistance.

  • After your initial consultation, your aesthetic doctor will recommend you the most suitable filler for you. The recommended filler will depend on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to:

    – Area of concern

    – Underlying pathological issue

    – Quality of skin coverage

    – Experience of the medical provider

    – Budget

  • This depends on the area of treatment and method of treatment.

Patients generally return to work immediately after the session. Some patients might develop small bruises at the site of injection over the next few hours, but this typically settles over the following few days.

  • Most patients typically go through two to three sessions.

The first session builds the initial structure, the second to blend, and the third session for any touch-ups if necessary. When it comes to facial sculpting, a more systematic and careful approach should be adopted.

Based on your doctor’s assessment, touch-up sessions may be recommended every 6 months to a year to maintain results.
